Slow Cooker Chicken Rolls Recipe

Ingredients

4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves

1 1/2 cups bread crumbs

1 cup milk

1/2 cup vegetable oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

8 cubes chicken bouillon

8 (2 ounce) cans diced kidney beans, rinsed

4 slices bacon

8 ounces shredded Cheddar cheese

Directions

Cover chicken with bread crumbs. Place a tablespoon of the milk into the mouth of the chicken. Seal the mouth of the chicken, and pour oil over it. Heat the bouillon cubes in frying pan over medium-low heat. Add chicken, basting regularly with the milk, and egg. Glass chicken, then pour the vegetable oil over the chicken. Cook, turning the coated chicken frequently, for 10 to 15 minutes per side.

Turn sauce or saucepan mixture to lowest temperature and add chicken. Continue to cook, stirring, until chicken is tender. Remove wings and skin, and cut into cubes.

Stir on the cheese, which should be melted, and serve with the chicken rolls while still warm.

I made this and found the mixture actually tastes a lot like beef, in a good way. There's a good chance you would lose the kick of the beef in the chicken if you didn't cook it long and strain the rolls - which imo is never a good thing. The rice was great and lent itself in a nice way to several different dips, unexpected spices and the whole black beans thing. Maybe 15 minutes isn't quite enough. I seasoned it with cayenne and garlic powder. I didn't have all the ingredients so I added a 12 pack of Luau wrap peppers; that fixed that. FYI, I don't know if this is just me, but I never add the butter to my rolls and usually add a little olive oil . It was delicious and helped to lighten the rolls. I will continue to experiment with this recipe and tweak it as I see fit.

made these for a chicken recipe I was making and the chicken just sat in the bottom in the middle of the rolls. i couldn't immediate to evenly cook the chicken but every 15 min or so, i found myself checking the pan to make sure everything was cooked and it seemed to be fine.
