1 (16 ounce) package apple sauce
teaspoon or teaspoon white sugar
1 (16 ounce) can sliced peaches, drained and chopped
1/3 cup vegetable oil
2 tablespoons distilled white vinegar
8 tablespoons white wine
In a saucepan, combine apple sauce, peaches, vegetable oil, vinegar and white wine. Bring over medium heat and add green onions, parsnips and chives. Boil 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and allow to cool, about 30 minutes. Mix together peach preserves and whipped topping and serve.
