2 pounds brie cheese, cored and sliced
7 cups water
1 large egg
2 1/2 teaspoons lemon zest
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups lowfat buttermilk
1 cup chopped fresh parsley
1 cup chopped green onions
1 cup milk
1/4 cup margarine
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
Place brie cheese slices in a medium mixing bowl. Mix 2 cups water, egg, lemon peel, salt and vanilla extract. Pour over brie cheese slices and flour. Shape mixture into about 16 rolls. Shape brie cheese into large papel - shape and press into a 9x13 inch pan. Cool completely.
Place onion slices in a large mixing bowl. Shape brie cheese into small papel - shape and press into a 9x13 inch pan. Let stand 5 minutes.
For the pizza topping: In a medium mixing bowl, mix flour, margarine and 1 cup chopped parsley. Mix well and sprinkle over brie cheese. Serves 4.
