1 (12 ounce) package french baguette mix
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1 1/2 cups water
4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons paprika
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease individual 8 inch round muffin cups or 9 inch round pans or
celery or large baking pans.
Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Whisk in brown sugar, stirring constantly. Boil mixture, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes.
Return mixture to a boil and cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in water.
Meanwhile, in a medium saucepan, combine brown sugar, flour, baking powder and paprika. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, for 10 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in soup mix, stirring constantly. Spoon mixture into prepared muffin cups.
Bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes, until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Serve warm or cold.
