3/4 cup margarine
1 1/2 cups white sugar
1 1/2 cups peanut butter
3/8 teaspoon salt
3/8 cup chocolate syrup
3/8 cup peanut butter
1 cup water
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup nonfat vegetable oil
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets or line with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, Mix margarine, sugar, peanut butter, salt and chocolate syrup. Stir constantly until smooth. Mix in water; stir just until moistened.
In a small bowl, sift together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and pepper. Stir into peanut butter mixture. Mix in 1 cup water, apple cider vinegar, baking soda and vanilla extract; beat well. Divide dough into two pieces and knead to form a ball. Roll each piece into a far larger ball. Roll the balls in remaining 1 cup water, mixing well. Place each piece of dough onto the prepared cookie sheet. Firmly roll into a rectangle.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
