1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 cup small currants
1 1/2 cups marinated red crabmeat
1/2 (11 ounce) cans green tomato juice
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon grated lemon zest
In a blender combine olive oil, small currants, crab, tomato juice and sugar. Blend until mixed. Transfer mixture to a glass mixing bowl. Stir with 1 teaspoon of water. Pour mixture over the crab and tomato mixture in half of the serving bowl. Sprinkle lemon zest over crab mixture. Cover (with foil) and refrigerate marinated item for at least 2 hours. Carefully spoon crab mixture over second layer of crab and tomato mixture. Cover and play game.
