Cheese and Chicken Wings Recipe

Ingredients

1 tablespoon olive oil

1/2 pound fresh or frozen boneless chicken wings

2 tablespoons minced onion

1/2 pound Italian sausage, casings removed

1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed tomato soup

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon dried basil

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Heat oil in large skillet over high heat. Stir in chicken, onion, sausage, tomato soup, and parsley. Reduce heat to low; simmer 15 minutes.

Heat remaining oil in skillet over high heat. Stir in basil, oregano, cream of chicken soup, and chicken. Return heat to low; simmer 5 minutes more. Place chicken in sauce.

This was fairly easy to make, but there are a few things I would change. First, I didn't have garlic powder, so I'd use our Italian seasoning if I used Italian bread. Second, I'd double the hot dogs, and be prepared to add onions of at a later date--this was pretty thin, so maybe next time I'll add another patty. Third, I'd leave out the orange zest, which were pretty much lost on this trip. Fourth, I'd use US Customary. Fifth, I wasn't allowed beef, so I used unpasteurized egg nog--a savings of 4 olives--and substitute with orange blossom....a much better flavor than New York play-strips.
