1 cup white sugar
1 cup milk
1 tablespoon rum
1 lemon, juiced
1 cup orange juice
1 1/2 cups boiling water
1 cup butter, melted
1 cup sifted all-purpose flour
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a large bowl, cream together white sugar and milk. Mix in rum and lemon juice. Mix in boiling water and orange juice. Stir in melted butter.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, until lightly browned. Cool before serving.
