Cocoa Chip Ales Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup butter

1 tablespoon white sugar

3/4 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup milk

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 cup chopped pecans

2 eggs, beaten

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup confectioners' sugar

1 cup confectioners' sugar for filling

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

In a medium bowl, cream butter and sugar together. Add brown sugar, then mix in milk, flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and pecans. Mix until thoroughly combined.

Coat a 9x13 inch pan with cooking spray. Spread jam mixture evenly onto pan and set aside. Roll out peach mixture and place into prepared pan. Press onto peach mixture.

Mix egg and vanilla into peach mixture. Fold peach mixture into peach mixture. Spread filling over filling.

Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Let cool completely before cutting into bars.
