1 cup all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
6 cups milk
3 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 teaspoons orange extract
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 1/4 cups packed light brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup brown sugar for decoration
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.
In a large bowl, stir together flour, baking powder and baking soda. Add the milk, eggs, orange extract, vegetable oil and butter; mix until moist. Stirring constantly, beat mixture until smooth. Spread batter into 2 aprons and place onto the prepared cookie sheet.
Bake for 30 to 40 minutes in the preheated oven, until the bottom of the cake springs back when touched. Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars.
