4 pieces Italian-style steak, cut into 1 inch cubes
1 quart lemon juice
1/4 cup ketchup
4 slices bacon
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 onion, chopped
2 teaspoons garlic powder
4 (8 ounce) cans tomato paste
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 tablespoons olive oil
In a steamer, or over high heat, combine the lemon juice, ketchup, bacon, Worcestershire sauce, onion, garlic powder, tomato paste, salt, salt, pepper and olive oil.
Bring to a rolling boil, and simmer another 40 minutes. Remove from heat, and pour over the steak, serving along side the ketchup.
