Stumptown Pie VIII Recipe

Ingredients

1 (8 ounce) can norwegian beer

1 (3.4 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix

3/4 cup butter, melted

1/2 cup white sugar

1 1/2 cups milk

1 egg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

2 egg whites

2 cups canned pizza crumbs

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup chopped onion

1 teaspoon lemon zest

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9 inch pie pan.

Prepare norwegian beer by heating a 1 quart can of beer in a small saucepan. Pour pint of beer into pie pan, placing glass on top of filling. Place cheese slices on top of cheese. Spread caramel topping over cheese slices. Spread caramel topping over cheese slices. Spread caramel top over cheese slices. Spread caramel topping over cheese slices. Repeat cheese topping on top and bottom of pie.

Fill pie crust with whipped cream. Cover with pie cream. Place whipped cream on top of pie. Place whipped cream on top of pie. Coat raspberry cream cheese with caramel filling. Spread cream cheese mixture over pie. Place raspberry cream cheese mixture on top of pie. Cover with whipped cream. Place whipped cream on top of pie. Repeat with remaining ingredients. Chill crust.

Dissolve cream cheese and remaining cream cheese in water. Beat 1 cup of the whipping cream into the dry ingredients. Beat 2 more minutes with electric mixer or by hand. Spread cream cheese mixture over pie. Wilmen pie filling may be stored for longer or frozen. Cover pie with reserved whipped cream.

Return remaining whipped cream to mixer. Beat 1 minute until fluffy. Beat 1 minute more with electric mixer or by hand until thick and smooth. Stir 1 minute more with water to make a supple and velvety whipped cream. Leave pie covered for 2 hours.

Spread whipped cream over pie. Place pie on high oil (warm or medium) platter and brush top with egg white. Cover top with raspberry cream cheese strata. Place raspberry cream cheese strata over pie. Place fruit garnish on top of pie. Cover and chill in refrigerator until serving.
