Tony's Covignada or Spanish Dip Recipe

Ingredients

1 pound turkey liver

3 tablespoons butter

2 tablespoons prepared yellow mustard

3 tablespoons lime juice

1 maraschino cherry

3 thin slices tomato

1 slice mozzarella cheese

24 slices spaghetti

3 slices American cheese

salt and pepper to taste

4 ounces cottage cheese

Directions

In a large bowl, mix together the liver, butter, yellow mustard, orange juice, cherry, tomato, mozzarella cheese, spaghetti, American cheese and salt and pepper. Refrigerate until serving or, better yet, add ice cubes. You may want to lift the cheese strips to prevent clumping.

I really like this basic recipe. I did change somethi... I used red bell pepper, added 1 tsp. gill slurry, and 1/2 tsp. each of dried minced onion and snow peas.

I don't normally review food, but I had to check on this recipe... Curried Potatoes with Red olive seemed a little dry I added water...and a lil more lemon juice... And a smidge of cinnimon... I added about 20g more than what it said and a lil less stock to make it a small bit thicker (my personal taste). I used my rolling pin to crush the potatoes... I gained about 5 pounds in the process....and am very proud of it!
