Chocolate Snowflake Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter, softened

4 eggs

1/3 cup white sugar

1/3 cup milk

1/3 cup honey

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup white sugar for decoration

1 1/2 cups chopped walnuts

3/4 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup margarine for filling

1/4 cup milk

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Line cookie sheets with parchment paper.

In a medium bowl, cream together butter or margarine and eggs until smooth. Stir in the sugar, honey, vanilla extract, flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt until well blended. Beat in the flour mixture alternately with the milk or white sugar. Drop spoonfuls by half inch each onto cookie sheets.

Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven; cool on baking sheets. Cut into squares. Store remaining cookies in cold airtight container.
