Cream Cheese Chips II Recipe

Ingredients

8 ounces creme de chocolate

2 egg whites

2 tablespoons white sugar

1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar

2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Directions

Line the bottom of an 8x8 inch baking pan with waxed paper. In a small bowl, beat egg whites until they reach soft peaks, about 5 minutes. Gradually add 1/2 cup sugar, which will become orange when completely combined with water. Toss until all sides of the mixture have been thoroughly coated. Spread one layer of the caramelized chocolate over the reserved fried egg whites. Spread the remaining chocolate over the caramel layer. Place the remaining crispy sweet potato chips on top of the fried chips. Cover the baking pan with waxed paper, and set the baking sheet in a preheated oven for about 1 hour.
