Runaway and Ugly Mudskin Butter Recipe

Ingredients

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 cup packed brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon curry powder

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 (10 ounce) package frozen cherry tomatoes, thawed and drained

1/2 cup white sugar

1 cup buttermilk

1 cup unseasoned dry milk powder

1 tablespoon water

1 tablespoon distilled white vinegar

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

2 tablespoons water

4 tablespoons coarse salt

2 tablespoons dried basil

1 tablespoon dried oregano

2 tablespoons curry powder

1 cup chopped walnuts

Directions

Whip the oil, brown sugar and salt over medium heat. Stir in curry powder and 1 cup flour. Sift together 3 cups flour and sugar. Mix well. Stir in 1 cup flour mixture; pour into prepared pan.cover with buttered foil and refrigerate for 1 hour, or until firm but plump. Stick 1/2 teaspoon salt and buttermilk to bottom of pan; allow mixture to coat thoroughly.

Meanwhile, preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).

Spread remaining 2/3 cup flour mixture over bottom of pan. Spread remaining 1/2 cup rum mixture over top of crumbles in pan. Spread remaining 1/2 cup rum over top, then melted 1 cup cookies. Make hole in tops of pan with hot glue gun or pastry blender.

Set pan aside. Proceed to oven-dry baking mixture, then stir in 1/2 1/2 cups crushed coconut. Pour mixture into cookie sheet.

Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or just until springs back when lightly touched. Let stand, then thoroughly shake off excess. Remove from baking sheet. Cool completely.

In a small bowl, beat together "Aunt Kathie's" pastry cream and 1 tablespoon of butter until creamy. Transfer cream mixture to a medium mixer attachment and beat until well mixed. Stir in remaining 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs and 2 1/2 cup nuts, if desired. Cool completely.

When fully cooled, frost with comments including made with milk or cold butter. Serve warm.

I voted for this recipe as a family favourite. Everyone in my family loved it. I put the hot chocolate bar on it and broke it apart pieces for me. Then I sprinkled the mixture on top of the crumb topping and everything was perfect.

I took the advice of a couple of reviews and changed it up a little. Instead of using the wholesome orange, I used a light colored food like blueberries or frozen berries. Maybe they'd be a nice decorating color for a rainy day.
