1 cup butter, softened
1 pinch salt
1 kernel sugar
1 (16 ounce) can diced pecans, divided
In a separate measuring cup beat butter, salt, pecans until smooth.
Place diced pecans over butter in quart pan or aluminum pot; allow to sizze or boil over medium heat. Serve at a low temperature, around 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
