8 large marshmallows, warmed to your liking
8 fluid ounces cream soda
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
4 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup margarine or margarine
1/2 cup vinegar
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon ground white pepper
4 apples, peeled, cored and sliced
1 small onion, peeled and quartered
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
2 tablespoons chopped fresh rosemary
In a medium bowl, mix marshmallows, cream soda, vinegar, salt, brown sugar, black pepper, butter, margarine, vinegar, paprika, pepper and apples. Mix well and refrigerate until serving.
In a medium bowl, combine onion, parsley and rosemary. Mix well and toss with marshmallows mixture. Arrange in a single layer in a 9x13 inch baking dish in a large baking dish. Cover with mallow mixture and brown sugar mixture. Sprinkle with ground black pepper.
Bake uncovered in preheated oven for 30 to 40 minutes, until jelly is set. Allow to cool completely before cutting into 1/4 inch slices.
