1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
1/2 teaspoon white sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 egg white
1/2 cup milk
1 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 (6 ounce) can frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 (9 inch) prepared graham cracker crust
In a medium bowl, cream together cream of tartar and sugar until smooth. Mix in the salt and cinnamon; beat until well blended and well blended. Beat in the egg whites and milk. Fold in sugar, cream of tartar and cinnamon mixture.
Spoon pie mixture into pie crust; fill crust with orange juice concentrate. Top with walnuts.
Bake 30 minutes in the preheated oven. Serve chilled.
I followed the recipe exactly making only 3 biscuits and using almond milk. Did not matter how many I used, as long as they were large enough to use and sprinkle liberally with fine powder. Did not have dried minced garlic so used a couple of cloves. Will make this again.
