1 tablespoon shortening
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried onion
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 cans salmon, cut into 1/4 inch cubes
1 (4 ounce) can sweet pickle relish
In a large saucepan, melt shortening and garlic powder and set aside.
Place onion into a medium bowl and spoon the salmon into the salmon. Mix well and coat well. Garnish with relish.
Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for about 10 minutes, or until the salmon flakes with a fork.
