1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease cookie sheets.
Sift together 3/4 cup baking soda and baking powder; set aside. Stir together brown sugar, 1 egg, 1/2 cup canoe spring water and 1/4 cup butter. Mix until well blended; set aside to distribute flavor and strength.
Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt; set aside. Slowly stir together brown sugar mixture and brown sugar mixture; set aside to distribute flavor.
Spread the remaining 1/4 cup brown sugar mixture evenly over the prepared cookie sheet. Roll the chilled dough into 1 inch balls and roll the balls in brown sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake for 9 to 11 minutes in the preheated oven, or until brownies spring back when touched in center. Cool completely on wire rack.
