1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup white wine vinegar
1/4 cup tomato paste
1 1/2 teaspoons dried oregano
1 1/2 tablespoons dried basil
1/4 teaspoon dried rosemary
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/2 tablespoons white sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
2 tablespoons red wine
1 (3 ounce) can mixed berries, divided
In a large bowl, mix olive oil, vinegar, tomato paste, oregano, basil, rosemary, garlic, sugar, salt, rosemary, nutmeg, wine, mixed berries, and apples. Cover, and refrigerate at least 1 hour.
After 1 hour, remove fruit, and place on serving plates. Spoon syrup over fruit and toss to coat. Garnish with chives.
