1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 cups white sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
5 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup blueberries
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in the egg. Combine the flour, baking powder and salt; stir into the whipping cream mixture. Fold in the blueberries.
Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased muffin cups. Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
