2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup shortening
4 eggs
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C) and grease a 10 inch Bundt dish. In a medium bowl, stir together flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside.
In a large bowl, cream eggs. Beat in 2/3 cup shortening until mixture is dense. Gradually blend in flour mixture using a mixer until dough forms.
Divide dough into two sheets, brush one another with non-stick cooking spray and brush with oil. Press dough into prepared pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes until a toothpick inserted into center of the cake comes out clean.
