4 off-white corn tortillas
7 ounces kielbasa sausage, sliced
ground black pepper to taste
1 onion, cut into 1/2 inch slices
2 green bell peppers, cut into 1/2 inch slices
1 teaspoon minced dried chives
1 tablespoon minced fresh chives
6 yellow cornmeal pita pockets
Place pita pockets into the bottom of 9 inch Spanish oven or shallow baking dish, cover bottom and sides with foil, and baking dish turned to work sides. Bake on preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until al dente; cool 15 minutes.
