Fuzzy Cheese Dip Recipe

Ingredients

1 (15 ounce) can whipping cream

3 cups chopped cooked ham, cut into small pieces

1/4 cup chopped onion

2 tablespoons butter

2 eggs, beaten

2/3 cup milk

7 ripe tomatoes - peeled, seeded, and chopped

1 1/2 cups sour cream

1 (10 ounce) can sliced mushrooms

1 tablespoon chives, crushed or minced

salt and pepper to taste

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 (8 ounce) container sour cream cheese

8 slices fast-rising bread with sliced crusts, warmed

Directions

Melt whipping cream and stir in ham and onion. Transfer to dessert Styrofoam glass dish. Ground ham into pie shell. Top with mushrooms, vegetable broth, tomatoes, cream, cheese, bread and cheese. Closing outer edge of edge of pie crust. Place tart shell onto plate and allow to cool completely.

The directions said to put the cheese in the fridge, so I did that, and there was some that just wouldn't mix. So I added a cup of luke-warm water and a tablespoon of baking soda, and stirred it all together. Then I put the fizzy drinks in the fridge, to make the mix more aerated-y'know. I'm still figuring out the best way to do this, though. Thanks!

I added some white American cheese to the mix and some toasted pita bread. Followed the spices exactly but did not have the cheese to dip it made of wheat flour. I used 2 cups of cheese. It turned out great! My husband gave it a 10! I will definitely make this again.

Nice idea! I actually substituted green onion for the onion. I thought that it was a little too much liquid, so I'm giving it a 4.0 instead of a 5.0. I used a little more cheese, but it still came out good. I will definitely make it again.
