2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
1 egg, lightly beaten
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.
Sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and baking powder. Set aside.
In a medium bowl, cream together the sugar, margarine and milk. Beat in the egg, one at a time. Scrape bowl, and beat in the flour mixture alternately with the vanilla, milk chocolate chips and chocolate syrup. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheets.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool completely on the baking sheet before removing to a wire rack to cool completely. Once cool, store cookies in an airtight container.
