1/2 pint heavy whipping cream
1/2 cup beef broth
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup chopped sunflower seeds
1 (.5 ounce) package instant chocolate syrup
1 cup boiling water
1/2 cup rye flour
In a medium saucepan, heat the whipping cream and cook over low heat until bubbles begin to form within the mixture. Remove from heat and stir in the beef broth. Pour in the sugar, sunflower seeds and syrup. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, and cook until liquid is reduced by half. Remove from heat. Stir in the boiling water and stir mixture until blended. Stir in the rye flour and turn to coat. Serve immediately, or chill and cut into squares or patties.
