1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 cup white sugar
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup white sugar
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup cornstarch
In a large bowl, egg the eggs, salt and vanilla extract. Mix well. Add eggs, whisking constantly, as needed, until all eggs are incorporated. Pour batter into greased 9-inch cake pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 60 minutes. Remove cake from oven and let cool completely.
Meanwhile, in a large bowl, mix sugar, flour, brown sugar, cornstarch and vanilla extract. Mix well. Pour over cooked cake. Chill in refrigerator.
