1 (14 ounce) can crabmeat
2 tablespoons margarine
2 teaspoons olive oil
1/2 teaspoon prepared black pepperonion
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder if desired
10 pounds striped cod
1 pound crabmeat
1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
16 ounces Italian cheese curd
8 ounces Shrimp Marinade prepared by Crabby Cheese
1/2 cup Italian seasoning-flavored soda
Slice each steak into large strips, securing with a toothpick. Stripe strips with the marinade over the meat. Place almost all of the edge of the strip of meat on the strip of marinade. Seal by pouring in another 1/2 cup of marinade. Transfer the remaining steak to a basting pan.
Place an empty pot of cold water on broiler pan and place pan on stove burner. Cover with foil and cool, raising foil this time to prevent sticking.
Broil 4 to 5 inches from heat. Cover pot with foil and broil about 8 minutes or until steak is no longer pink when pierced with a knife. Turn, and continue broiling for 1 minute. Serve hot. Discard foil.
