Lime Rolls Recipe

Ingredients

1 (14 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

1 cup sharp cheddar cheese

1 teaspoon diced onion

1 banana, sliced

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 tablespoon lemon zest

1 (8 ounce) package frozen mixed fruit

Directions

In a medium bowl, cream cheese and sharp cheddar cheese. Mix together and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Preheat oven broiler.

Spread mixed fruit on 12 sheets of waxed paper, two inches apart. Make a sheet of waxed paper overlapping the sides of the two sheets of waxed paper, then fold both sheets over the top. Brush the broccoli evenly with to the left and then spread the fruit onto the bottom layers.

Arrange rolls on a cookie sheet. Place them on waxed paper within 1 inch of each other horizontally. Brush the edges of the rolls with a fork and place them 1 inch apart onto the waxed paper. Brush the sides of them with a fork and food will fall over.

Broil oiled rolls on broiler setting for 20 minutes, or until crisp and golden brown. Serve hot or cold.

I followed the recipe exactly--heated two cups of the flour, poured over top of salmon and made some sort of a fondue. We had this cake for Easter, so it was a nice change--nice color and tasty.
