I have a recipe almost identical to this one (used a can of diced tomatoes and a jar of Tomato Sauce). It is delicious, and easy, but if you want some kick in chili add some rotel. I usually add a clove of diced garlic, but I steamed that in the microwave before dumping it in the chili. I usually add a 1/2 tsp. of McCormick's Chipotle Chile Pepper powder, but I didn't use that and didn't have dried chili peppers. I usually decrease the heat to medium-low, and usually get around 10-12. I have added a extra can of tomato sauce, and if I wanted I could have thrown in more than just tomatoes. This has really good potential.
