4 (4 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
4 eggs, separated
1 (21 ounce) can hickory-dried basil diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 � tablespoon all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 (11 ounce) cans sliced carrots, drained
1 teaspoon lemon zest
In a medium bowl, mix cream cheese, eggs, basil, garlic, flour, pepper, baking soda, carrots, lemon zest. Shape mixture into one ounce balls or spoons. Place tablespoon of topping over any vegetables, sliced diagonally, for garnish.
