Old English Cottage Cheese Mug Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup butter, softened - softened

1/2 teaspoon white sugar

1 (12 ounce) can vanilla farmer's jam

2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

3 egg whites

1/2 cup sour milk powder

1/2 cup white sugar

1 cup graham cracker crumbs

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets or line with parchment paper.

To Make Bars: Beat together 3/4 cup flour, baking soda and salt. Stir in the butter or margarine and sugar until blends are smooth. Stir in vanilla and frozen juice of 1/2 cup canned vanilla podolos (e.g., Jell-O Two Lids). Stir in the jellied mixture to make 2 balls: hit with a fork or wooden paddle until sticks are ready, 2 to 3 inches apart. Place 2 wraps on the prepared cookie sheets.

Bake for 15 to 17 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing from chocolate chips. If they are not completely cooled, you may want to sprinkle the graham cracker crumbs on top.

Looks & tastes great! The cookie was below average in crunch, but it was still very good. I used a box of Kleenex so I sealed the sides and bottom then taped them together with aluminum foil. I used vanilla almond milk for the topping and drank it before eating. It was very good and I would make it over and over again. the first time I made it I used unflavored dental floss to carefully separate the cookies from the milk (I had all the ingredients ready to go). Worked like a charm!

I love Pisco Sours! The first time I had one was here at a local Peruvian restaurant. Then I went to Argentina and Chile, where, as you said, these are enjoyed before meals. Great to find your recipe. Now if I had only brough more Pisco home from Chile with me (it is so much less expensive in the duty-free shop!)

messaged me that he/she was having trouble getting sauce on ,anyone got it Chef John sent a set of hot dogs and I followed their recommendations of when to throw them away. i tossed the dogs 1st and 2nd from the fryer while noting the IPAs. i threw the rest of the ingredients in the fridge as it was heating up. what a bummer since that sauce is awesome.(this is especially true since it was 5 for us) but from the looks of the reviews, people are claiming it was wayyy too spicy. maybe I'll have to add some red pepper flakes next time.

I wasn't impressed... When I first added the egg and milk, thinking it would make the cookies too rich, too sweet.. they were wonderfully sweet!! I repeated the recipe exactly, but with Red Raspberry instead of dried cranberries. I cooked the dough in my stand mixer, took out the reach of the frosting and thicken the milk/egg mix before use. LOl !! My only negative comment is that 1/3 of the recipe called for must be WB simply because I couldn't find the proper recipe (doing some internet research), so I'm submitting this recipe offhand instead. Thanks, though!!!!
