6 ounces pizza dough
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried dried basil
3/4 cup whole chives, minced
1 cup extra virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1 (16 ounce) can whole peeled tomatoes, drained
1 large onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 (8 ounce) container pizza sauce
1 (16 ounce) package shredded mozzarella cheese
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a pizza pan.
In a large bowl, mix pizza dough, basil, oregano, basil and oregano. Shape dough into a rolling, round shape. Place rolled dough into a greased 9x13 inch baking pan. Chill in refrigerator for at least 1 hour or overnight.
In a small bowl, combine pizza sauce, tomatoes and onion. Pour over pizza dough in baking pan and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. Cover and chill for at least 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 275 degrees F (135 degrees C).
Roll dough into a 1 inch thick square. Place about 1 inch apart on ungreased baking sheet. Spread with pizza sauce mixture. Cover and chill for at least 1 hour.
Bake at 275 degrees F (135 degrees C) for 15 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and bake 8 to 10 more minutes. Cool before cutting into squares.
Made this a pizza by myself I didn't mix everything and it was tasty though. Mayo could probably go by default here since it's there. Children could probably handle it on their own though.
