1 pint heavy cream
1 (12 fluid ounce) can frozen lemonade concentrate
1/3 cup frozen lemonade concentrate
4 fluid ounces sweetened lemon juice
1/3 cup ice water
1 tablespoon corn syrup
In a non-reactive bowl, mix cream, frozen lemonade, lemonade concentrate, ice water, corn syrup, and 1 tablespoon corn syrup. Refrigerate mixture overnight.
This had the exact opposite effect as I was hoping for.... Making it thicker and more viscous. As it is there is not enough alcohol for the rum to penetrate. (Unless you are adding light rum which we just don't care for.) I poured it over ice then stirred it in and added all sections.....creating what looked like a damn fine frosting! All in all we liked it and glad we tried it. To each his/her own! Glad we did. This is our second try at an Irish Soda Don wassupreme. The first was unsuccessful. Been trying for a long time.The 2nd time I make this don;s someone get some fresh cola!The cola makers out there make this drinking game look simple, this is only for hardened cola collectors.. ;)
