1/2 cup white sugar
1/3 cup cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup water
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
3 PINEAPPLE VINE GRETS
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 tablespoon glaze
1 tablespoon poppy seeds
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) Combine sugar and cornstarch in the bottom of a double boiler or custard pot; stir. Warm water, and add cornstarch; stir to dissolve. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat. Grate cereal-type flour; stir into sauce. Reduce heat. Process 2 minutes. Stir in egg and milk, crushed eggs, and crushed cereal-type "Fiber". Whisk in melted butter, glaze, and poppy seeds. Pour mixture over bread cubes in prepared baking pan. Bake 15 to 20 minutes, until set.
