2 orange slices
6 strawberries, halved
1 teaspoon orange juice
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 (8 ounce) jar maraschino cherries
6 slices bacon
4 slices Swiss cheese
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Lightly grease an 8x8 inch baking dish.
Sift together the orange juice, lemon juice, cherry juice and orange slices. Stir to combine. Pour over fruit and sprinkle with the cherry slices. Bake at 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) for 40 minutes, or until fruit is tender and edges are golden brown. Let cool completely and chill in refrigerator. Store in tightly covered glass jars.
While the fruit is baking, place the peeled bananas and sliced strawberries in a large mixing bowl. Stir until smooth. Place over the fruit, mixing with room in between each piece. Serve in chilled jars or in individual portions.
After the fruit is baked, slice slices of bacon and place them over the fruit. Wrap each piece of fruit in a tissue, wrapping around the edges. Refrigerate until serving time. Wrap each slice of bacon around the edge of each wrap. Roll up when serving.
