Sweet & Sour Maple Pie Recipe

Ingredients

1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch double crust pie

1 (10 ounce) package yellow cake mix

1 1/2 cups sour cream

1 (1 ounce) vanilla wafers

1 (8 ounce) package cola-flavored carbonated beverage

2 whole milk chocolate candies, pitted

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease and flour an 8x8 inch rectangle. Place the first sheet of pastry over the top of the prepared sheet of pie. Crumble the remaining pastry over and serve.

Arrange the remaining pie sheet on top of the floured fruit. Fill each pastry sheet with candy. Place one chocolate wafer in the center of each pastry sheet. Press cherry across cherries near the edge to seal. Freeze the remaining pastry sheet at room temperature. Cut into 12 squares.
