Warm Chicken and Turkey Stew Recipe

Ingredients

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

1 1/2 cups chicken broth

1 1/2 cups diced onion

1 teaspoon soy sauce

1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

1 cup chopped onion

2 carrots, cut into 1/2 inch rounds

1 (10 ounce) can chicken broth mix

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1 cup pineapple juice

1 cup sliced pineapple

1 cup sliced bacon

1/2 cup butter

1 cup fresh bread crumbs

Directions

In a large saucepan, heat the oil and chicken broth together over medium heat. Saute mushrooms, carrots, onion, celery and bacon in oil and water for about 6 minutes.

Add chicken broth mix while stirring, and puree for about 40 seconds. Serve chicken mixture with bread crumbs.

Pour sauce over chicken of your choice, or simply heat through.

This recipe is excellent. I substituted butter for the oil and it came out very nicely. It took longer to make than the recipe stated but worth it. Highly recommend it! <ST
