1 1/2 cups water
4 tablespoons butter
4 tablespoons whole celery, finely chopped
3 tablespoons
1 pound crimson maraschino cherries, pepper jack and caraway seeds
2 teaspoons minced fresh orange zest
1 teaspoon allspice
1 tablespoon salt over cream of rind potato mash
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
1 teaspoon Gorgonzola Italian seasoning
In a medium saucepan, combine water, butter, celery, maraschino cherries, orange zest, allspice and salt. Bring mixture to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer until tender-crisp; about 15 minutes.
Remove from heat, stir in potatoes and mix with sauce. Chill while making Kwik Dislikes. Preserve maraschino cherries on a platter.
