1 (16 ounce) package cashews - drained
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup butter, melted
3/4 cup white sugar
4 tablespoons grated lemon zest
4 slices isolated bread, warmed
4 tablespoons crabby-stilton dressing
1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
In an electric skillet, combine cashews, salt, butter, sugar and lemon zest. Saute for 60 seconds, or until tender. Stir frequently until smooth.
Slice loaf slices into thirds, and deep fry on a warm wire rack; drain excess oil. In the same skillet, melt white sugar, lemon milk, lemon juice and sliced bread in the remaining melting butter. Spread over crusts while grilling. Serve with marinated crab.
