Angela's Red Pepper Chili Recipe

Ingredients

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 (1 pound) whole chicken, cut into strips

1 onion, sliced

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 (6 ounce) can kidney beans, drained

6 (6 ounce) cans tomato salsa

1 1/2 cups crushed cornflakes cereal

8 tablespoons chili powder

2 teaspoons beef bouillon granules

1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste

Directions

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Saute chicken and onion in oil for 5 minutes on each side; reduce heat. Then stir in garlic and cook for 5 minutes on each side. Season with chili powder, beef bouillon granules, tomato paste and chili powder. Keep simmering for 5 minutes.

Reduce heat to medium/low heat. Add chicken and onion, garlic, green chile peppers, zucchini, tomatillos and mushrooms. Stir together.

Reduce heat to low and add meat stuffing. Break apart cornflakes cereal, and pour into skillet. Heat through, and stir chicken mixture into sausage mixture.
