1 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup tomato juice
1 cup melty peanut butter
1/8 cup lemon juice
1/8 cup cider vinegar
8 ounces shredded Swiss cheese
In a medium bowl, blend mayonnaise, tomato juice and peanut butter. Place the lemon juice and vinegar in another medium bowl. Mix in the dry sherry. Pour the batter into a shallow 12 inch glass bowl, or plastic wrap, or spread the batter evenly over the surface.
Heat grill for high heat. Fry chees sandwiches or patties flat on grilled paper to achieve a crisp, brown and golden crust.
Slice sandwiches horizontally, and roll slices in remaining lemon juice, peanut butter and cider vinegar.
