3 cups white rice
6 teaspoons cream of tartar powder
3 cups water
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon dried tarragon
1 cup cooked corn
2 eggs
2 tablespoons vanilla extract
2 nectarines, chopped
1 1/2 cups cornflakes cereal
1/2 cup brown sugar for coating
1 teaspoon cornstarch
In a large bowl, combine rice, cream of tartar powder, water, salt, dried tarragon, corn, egg, vanilla and nectarines. Mix together. Pour this mixture into 10 serving bowls and spread cornstarch mixture on top. As the rice dries, mix brown sugar with cornstarch mixture in small bowl.
