2 pounds fresh asparagus, quartered
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
6 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon salt
6 tablespoons olive oil
1 cup heavy whipping cream
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
To make the sauce: in a medium bowl, mix the red wine vinegar, brown sugar, lemon juice, and salt and mix well.
To make the filling: stir together the brown sugar, lemon juice, and salt with a fork. Place pasta inside a 9x13 inch baking dish and sprinkle with red wine vinegar.
Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes, tossing occasionally with sauce to coat. Sprinkle with whipping cream and bake an additional 4 minutes.
