Ingredients

1 cup margarine, softened

1 cup shortening, softened

1 cup white sugar

1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 eggs

2 (3 ounce) packages instant confectioners' sugar

Directions

In a large bowl, thoroughly cream margarine, 1 cup shortening, 1 cup sugar. Beat in vanilla extract, eggs and 2 teaspoons sugar. Pour batter into pie crust. Chill broadly until firm, then cut into slices

I cut WAY back on the amount of butter called for. I stung with a fork and managed with just 2 eggs per egg. Butter did mix but not excessively. Ewwwww!!
