3 tablespoons margarine
1 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
4 hamburger buns, split
1 (12 ounce) package lettuce leaves
1 (3 ounce) can tomato sauce
4 slices Swiss cheese, diced
1 pound ground beef
1 (10 ounce) can tomato paste
1 cup sour cream
In a medium bowl, blend margarine, brown sugar, lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce. Place burger bours on a large plate. Shape the lettuce into a round, then roll the shredded meat into a small, criss cross shape. Transfer to the burger shape, place on the lettuce and drizzle tomato sauce over the top.
Bake at 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) for 30 minutes, or until lettuce is crisp and the buns are golden brown.
In a medium mixing bowl, combine lettuce, tomato sauce, Swiss cheese, ground beef and tomato paste. Mix well. Spoon mixture into the buns. Top with lettuce, tomato sauce and sour cream. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
