1 medium head lettuce
2 medium tomatoes, diced
1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced
8 plantains, diced
1 large onion, chopped
1 (16 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 pinch salt
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/4 cup honey
1 teaspoon mixed spice (optional)
Spread lettuce over a serving platter; top with tomatoes, tomato peppers, and plantains. Top with onion and cook another minute. Serve with tomato sauce and tomato paste recipe.
Season with salt, pepper, and honey. Top with salsa and lime juice.
