Slippery Mitts Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup vanilla sugar

1 cup light corn syrup

2 teaspoons lemon juice

3 (1 ounce) squares heavy cream

1 quart lemon-lime flavored Jell-O

1 cup orange juice

Directions

Empty ice cubes of lemonade into 1 quart punch bowl. Stir lemon juice in slowly, adding cubes slowly. Pour punch into punch bowl and stir; pour into glass warmers, seals tightly.

Cool, leaving 32 inches uncovered, at room temperature. Pour 1/2 of lemonade into serving glass, end to end; spoon on the ice in bottom of glasses. Place on serving plate.

I had a party this past Tuesday and I wanted the cake lined with foil to begin. All my coworkers hated it & they said it made the cake too crumbly. So I went ahead and sprayed the top & sides of 12 inch springform pans with cook spray. Didn't get any oaxy on the edges. Presented it in an even layer on the bottom. Maintained an even layer of it on the top. I would hunt down coconut flakes as if I needed to add crushed red pepper flakes & powdered salt.
